Shannon Palmer is a graphic designer / illustrator working out of northern Louisiana. She’s done design work for Daytrotter.com, Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins, Mike Garson (piano player for David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, NIN), Tab The Band, The Feminist Press, and several other bands, music promotion companies, venues, and small businesses.

Shannon is married to a pretty swell guy, and they have a young daughter who is, herself, a budding artist (having just won first place in a local art competition). In addition to design, Shannon writes songs on the guitar, plays bass and drums, and records on her little mac home studio. She’s also an avid photographer, and takes lots of photos of textures to share with readers of What Noisy Cats Are We.

She’s currently working at a local newspaper, designing ads for local businesses, and saving up enough money to finally go freelance fulltime. She hopes that day is right around the corner, so she can devote all of her working hours to what she loves. Namely, designing and illustrating for bands and continuing to update this blog.
